Our blue eggers lay pretty blue eggs. We use a combination of Whiting True Blue, Crested Cream Legbars, and Amerucanas. All of these breeds are homozygeous for the blue egg gene, which means they have 2 blue egg genes, so our blue eggers can be assumed to inherit the same. Our barred blue rooster has been DNA tested and he is homozygous for the bluie egg gene.
Most of these birds feather out BBS; black, blue and splash. Most will have muffs and beards, and some will be clean faced.
*Please note that the color of the egg may or may not be the same color egg genes of the chick. Each egg will be marked and collected within 5 days of shipping.

GreenHaven Farm carefully collects, stores, and packs hatching eggs to ensure they leave our farm in excellent condition. However, once eggs leave our control, we cannot guarantee fertility or hatch rates for shipped hatching eggs.
Hatching success is influenced by many factors beyond our control, including but not limited to shipping conditions, handling, storage, incubation equipment, incubation settings, and individual customer practices. Even under ideal conditions, no hatching egg supplier can guarantee a specific hatch rate, especially for eggs that are shipped.
