These beautiful and docile birds are the foundation of many of our breeding programs, and we also refer to them as our Greenhaven F1's. Not only does these birds have a gorgeous partridge feathering, they are also some of the sweetest and most docile birds we have. They lay beautiful large sage green eggs, often with speckles and when most of our other hens stop laying for the season these girls lay longer into the winter and their egg production is amazing. All of these sage eggers are first generation, called F1 (filial 1) which means that they will always lay a green egg. The Sage egger roosters are also sweet and docile and due to their genetics are both perfect as your homestead flock leader as well as a breeding rooster.
