These beautiful cross breed lays eggs that are typically dark brown, and sometimes with speckles and/or a light bloom that some days makes the eggs have purple or mauve tons to them. Prolific layers of large eggs, and friendly chickens. And of course one of the best things about this cross breed is that they are sexable at hatch, so we can give you females only. If you want to add some contrast to the blue and green eggs in your egg basket, and be sure you will receive a female chick, this is the perfect choice. These birds will be a mix of black feathers, and black with some copper hackle feathers around their necks. These birds are hardy due to the selection of genetics we have combined, and will make great additions to your backyard flock.
