Our Boston butt roasts are a richly marbled, deeply flavorful cut that are perfect for slow cooking, roasting, or smoking. Cut to approximately 5 pounds each, they are a great size for family meals and are ideal for pulled pork, braised pork, or a classic slow-roasted centerpiece. Our heritage pigs are raised in the woods and on pasture, where they root, roam, and forage naturally. They are fed certified organic, soy-free feed from a local mill and also enjoy acorns, roots, apples, and watermelon. All of our pork is processed and packaged at a USDA-inspected facility in Forest City, NC. The result is a well-marbled roast with exceptional flavor and the quality that comes from careful raising.
